Welcome to Chicks & Cocks (chicksandcocks.com). By accessing or using the site you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About the site

Chicks & Cocks is a free, family-friendly community for sharing and browsing photos of chickens, hens, roosters, chicks and wild fowl. “Cocks” on this site refers only to roosters.

2. Accounts

Browsing, voting and commenting are available without an account. Uploading photos requires signing in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload. By posting content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and distribute it on the site and in related promotion (for example social media sharing previews) for as long as it remains on the site. You confirm that:

• you own the photo or have permission to share it;
• it does not infringe anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights; and
• it follows the rules in section 4.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to post or do any of the following:

• Sexual, pornographic, violent, graphic or otherwise inappropriate content, or content that harms animals.
• Photos of people (especially children) without their permission, or private or identifying information about others.
• Hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory or misleading content.
• Spam, advertising, scams, malware or links to harmful sites.
• Attempts to hack, overload or interfere with the site, or to manipulate votes, views or comments with bots or automated tools.
• Anything illegal under Singapore law or the law where you live.
• Clicking on ads for the purpose of generating revenue, or asking others to do so.

5. Moderation

We may remove any content, and suspend or block any account, at our discretion and without notice, particularly if these terms are broken. If you see content that should not be here, please contact us.

6. Copyright complaints

If you believe your work has been posted without permission, email chicksandcockssg@gmail.com with a link to the content and details of your claim. We will review it and remove content where appropriate.

7. Advertising and third-party links

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from user-submitted content, or from the site being unavailable or interrupted.

11. Changes to the site and these terms

We may change or discontinue any part of the site, and may update these terms at any time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
